INDICATIONS:
Diabex is indicated for the supportive treatment in diabetes, regulates kidney and liver functions, helps to alleviate all symptoms associated with diabetes.

DIABETES

Diabetes is a number of diseases that involve problems with the hormone insulin. Normally, the pancreas (an organ behind the stomach) releases insulin to help body store and use the sugar and fat from the food you eat. Diabetes can occur when the pancreas produces very little or no insulin, or when the body does not respond appropriately to insulin. As yet, there is no cure. People with diabetes need to manage their disease to stay healthy.

Type 1 diabetes, once known as juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes, is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. Insulin is a hormone needed to allow sugar (glucose) to enter cells to produce energy. Type 1 diabetes can develop at any age, though it often appears during childhood or adolescence. The exact cause of type 1 diabetes is unknown. Usually, the body?s own immune system ? which normally fights harmful bacteria and viruses ? mistakenly destroys the insulin-producing (islet, or islets of Langerhans) cells in the pancreas. Other possible causes include:

• Genetics
• Exposure to viruses and other environmental factors

Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that affects the way your body metabolizes sugar (glucose) ? an important source of fuel for your body. Type 2 diabetes develops when the body becomes resistant to insulin or when the pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin. Exactly why this happens is unknown, although genetics and environmental factors, such as being overweight and inactive, seem to be contributing factors. Type 2 diabetes, the more common type, can develop at any age, though it?s more common in people older than 40.

Some of the signs and symptoms of type 1 and type 2 diabetes are:

• Increased thirst
• Frequent urination
• Extreme hunger
• Unexplained weight loss
• Presence of ketones in the urine (ketones are a byproduct of the breakdown of muscle and fat that happens when there?s not enough available insulin)
• Fatigue
• Irritability
• Blurred vision
• Slow-healing sores
• Frequent infections, such as gums or skin infections and vaginal infections

COMPOSITION:
Each tablet contains: Calcium Phosphoricum 3x, Ferrum Phosphoricum 3x, Kalium
Phosphoricum 3x, Natrum Phosphoricum 3x, Natrum Sulfuricum 3x each 20mg w/w
and excipients Q.S to tablet weight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
No evidence exists for any established interactions with food or other
substances/conventional medicines. Data derived from laboratory studies and healthy
volunteers does not shows any of the serious effects of illness.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
No adverse effects have been reported or observed till date. However existing symptoms
may get worse temporarily when homoeopathic medicines are taken. Some individuals
may experience sensitivity to the lactose in the tablet base of the remedy. Although the
overall risk of homoeopathic remedies causing an adverse effect appears to be low. It
is better to consult a Homoeopath instead of self medication which might results in
negative effects due to improper diagnosis.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES:
There is no evidence that homoeopathic remedies interfere with other substances.
Alcohol, tobacco and unhealthy life style may effect the efficacy of Homoeopathic
remedies so try to avoid these habits for achieving best results. It would not be anticipated
that there would be any interaction with conventional medicines.
DOSAGE:
As directed by the registered homoeopathic doctor.
Adult: 4 Tablets 4 times a day with every 3 hours interval.
Children: 2 Tablets 4 times a day with every 3 hours interval.
WARNING:
Take tablets 30 minutes before or after meals. This medicine contains lactose and wheat starch. Store in a cool & dry place.
