KALI PHOSPHORICUM

The common name of Kali Phosphoricum is Phosphate of Potassium. It generally comes as a white amorphous ash. It was proved and introduced by Allen. It is prepared in mother tincture and dilution and triturations as well. Kali Phosphoricumis known as student?s brain tonic. It is useful in the dearrangements of the nervous system such as neurasthenia, prostration, insomnia, loss of mental vigor and muscular debility. It is also of service in melancholia and mania that arise as a result of overstrain of the mind. This remedy must be remembered in the treatment of suspected malignant tumors and in delayed labour.
