LEUCORRHOEA
Leucorrhoea or leukorrhea is a state or a condition that?affects the vaginal region?in women. This condition is also known as the ?whites? because a white discharge is released. Generally, this white discharge helps in flushing out bacteria and other microbes that enter the body. The discharge is generally, pale white or clear in color and odorless, but at times, the discharge can be of different colors, depending on the composition. If the composition has desquamated epithelium and mucus, then the color of the discharge is bluish-white, it is yellow and greenish yellow due to pus and bacteria. It can also be a chocolate color or blood-colored due to old or fresh blood.
In some women, the discharge can be a few drops, while in others, the discharge may be continuous. These mucous-like secretions help protect the interior of the body and they might not necessarily be harmful. It is believed that estrogen imbalance is one of the causes of leucorrhoea. Under infectious conditions and sexually transmitted diseases (STD), the amount of discharge increases significantly. Vaginal infections can include bacterial infections, yeast infections, and fungal infections. Leucorrhoea is also observed during a woman?s menstrual cycle.
COMPOSITION:
Each tablet contains: Calcium Phosphoricum 3x, Kalium Sulfuricum 3x, Kalium Phosphoricum 3x, Natrum Muriaticum 3x each 25mg w/w and excipients Q.S to tablet weight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
No evidence exists for any established interactions with food or other substances/conventional medicines. Data derived from laboratory studies and healthy volunteers does not shows any of the serious effects of illness.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
No adverse effects have been reported or observed till date. However existing symptoms may get worse temporarily when homoeopathic medicines are taken. Some individuals may experience sensitivity to the lactose in the tablet base of the remedy. Although the overall risk of homoeopathic remedies causing an adverse effect appears to be low. It is better to consult a Homoeopath instead of self medication which might results in negative effects due to improper diagnosis.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES:
There is no evidence that homoeopathic remedies interfere with other substances. Alcohol, tobacco and unhealthy life style may effect the efficacy of Homoeopathic remedies so try to avoid these habits for achieving best results. It would not be anticipated that there would be any interaction with conventional medicines.
DOSAGE:
As directed by the registered homoeopathic doctor.
Adult: 4 Tablets 4 times a day with every 3 hours interval.
WARNING:
Take tablets 30 minutes before or after meals. This medicine contains lactose and wheat starch. Store in a cool & dry place.
