Cinnamomum

This remedy is indicated in post partum and other uterine haemorrhages. On the other hand, the essential oil from the bark is used as a stimulant and for some other complaints. As a local application, it is used in neuralgia and headaches. It is used as carminative and also as a stimulant. It is given in colic, diarrhoea, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, spasmodic affections of the bowels, gastric irritation and paralysis of the tongue. It is also employed in cancer where pain and fetor are present.
