Vulvovaginitis:
Is an inflammation or infection of the vulva and vagina. It?s also called vaginitis. It?s a common condition, it shows up most often during your reproductive years.
Types:
There are three common types of vaginal infections:
Yeast infection: Sometimes much of a fungus called Candida. albicans, or any of several species of candida. Women?s always have some candida in vagina, but an overgrowth causes yeast infections and symptoms of vaginitis.
Bacterial vaginosis: A healthy vagina has several types of bacteria living in it. Some are ?good? and some are ?bad,? but they balance each other out. Bacterial vaginosis when the bad bacteria start to outnumber the good bacteria.
Trichomoniasis. This type of vaginitis comes from a tiny, one-celled parasite called Trichomonas vaginalis. It transmitted through having sex with someone who?s infected.
Causes:
The most common cause is bacteria. Other prevalent causes include:
- yeast
- viruses
- parasites
- environmental factors
- sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- exposure to chemical irritants and allergens
Symptoms:
The symptoms of vulvovaginitis vary and depend on their cause. In general, symptoms can include:
- irritation of the genital area
- itching
- inflammation around the labia and perineal areas
- increased, strong-smelling vaginal discharge
- discomfort while urinating

Pharmacology:

HR 66 contains Berberi Vulgaris in which Active ingredients are Berberine, berbamine, oxyacantha, glucose, fructose, malic acid, pectine, vitamin C. Berberry is considered to be antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, hypertensive, haemostatic, diuretic and vasodilator, Due to its constituent berberine, Barberry can act as a very efficient remedy against bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infections. HR 66 contains Hydrastis Can in which active ingredients are hydrastine, berberine, berberastine, canadine, candaline, and hydrastinine, fatty acids, resin, polyphenolic acids, meconin, chlorogenic acid, phytosterins, it is used? as a disinfectant. Hydrastis contains berberine and hydrastine which have a broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiviral action. HR 66 has additional benefits of Echinacea Ang , in which main constituents are Oil and resin both in wood and bark and masses of inulin, inuloid, sucrose, vulose, betaine, two phytosterols and fatty acids, oleic, cerotic, linolic and palmatic. Echinacea increases bodily resistance to infection and is used for boils, erysipelas, septicaemia, cancer, syphilis and other impurities of the blood, its action being antiseptic. It has also useful properties as a strong alterative and aphrodisiac.

Formula with properties:
Berberis Aq 1D: A remedy for the skin and secondary syphilis. Stimulates all glands and useful in Endometritis.
Berberis vulg 1D: Pinching constriction in mons veneris, vaginismus, Burning and soreness in vagina. Oversensitivity of female genitals. Neuralgia of ovaries and vagina.
Echinacea Ang 1D: discharges suppressed, vaginitis, abdomen sensitive and tympanitic; offensive and excoriating leucorrhoea.
Hydrastis Can 1D: Erosion and excoriation of cervix. Leucorrhoea, worse after menses; acrid and corroding, shreddy, tenacious.
Phytollacca Beries 1D: Endometritis, mammae hard and very sensitive. Ovarian neuralgia of right side. Infection of ovaries.
Sepia 3D: Pelvic organs relaxed. Bearing-down sensation as if everything would escape through vulva; must cross limbs to prevent protrusion, or press against vulva. Leucorrhoea yellow, greenish; with much itching. Prolapse of uterus.
