LEDUM PALUSTRE

The common names of Ledum Palustre are Wild Rosemary, Marsh Tea, Swamp Tea, Marsh Cistus Ledum is an evergreen shrub found in the northern areas of North America, Europe and Asia. Ledum was proved and introduced by Hahnemann in 1805. The mother tincture is prepared from the whole plant and dilution from it. Ledum is one of the useful remedies in rheumatic diathesis, chronic gouty nodes, soreness of the soles, feet and heels. It should also be remembered for local use for the injuries and wounds caused by pointed instruments. It also useful in chronic eczema and tetanus with twitching of muscles near wounds.
