The common name is Musk and zoological name is Moschus Moschiferous. It is dried secretion from the preputial follicle of the Musk Deer (Moschus Moschiferous) class: mammalian, habitat: Asia. It comes in irregular crummy and unctuous grains. It is dark reddish brown in colour. Tincture, triturations and dilution are prepared from grains.
