TRITICUM REPENS

The common names of Triticum Repens are Couch-Grass, Twitch Grass, Quick Grass, and Dog Grass. It is a widely used grass abundant in fields and waste places in Britain and in the continent of Europe and also in Northern Asia, Australia and North and South America. This remedy was introduced and proved by Burnett. The mother tincture is prepared from the root and dilution from it. This remedy is indicated when the urine is of high specific gravity accompanied by excessive irritability of the bladder, dysuria, cystitis and gonorrhoea. It is also useful in lithaemic and rheumatic conditions.
